"We Invented The Remix"

Do you remember when remixes were the BIGGEST shits in the world? Early 00's. You heard EVERYBODY and they mama talkin', "You heard the remix, though?" Not every remix ever made was necessary. Some remixes came out to songs I don't remember the originals to. For instance, "I Think They Like Me" by Dem Franchize Boyz. I never heard the first cut, but on the remix, JD insisted he was on the first one. Hmm....Remixes that were better than the original song, Chingy's "Right Thur" with JD and Trina, much needed assistance.....Um, Slim Thug's "Diamonds" with Jeezy and Mannie Fresh, shitted on his chopped and screwed bullshit. I present you thee best remixes EVER!

You might laugh, you might agree. I don't care either way. I heard this song ONE time in 2003, and it's remained in my mind ever since. I usually don't agree with R.Kelly's works post-90's, but he still shines on some songs in the 00's. Don't hate, you know boy bands made GOOD ASS MUSIC. Some of you gangstas out there might not admit it, but I know you like N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys.


Ignore the first song, "Definition",  tune into "RE:Definition". The one where Mos Def's singing AND rapping is better.


The original cut was only Dr Dre's song on 2001. Somehow part 2 ended up with Rakim and on Jay-Z's Blueprint2. For the record, Rakim shit on Hov.
