Sand In My Vagina

This is my last technology rant, I promise!

Ok, since it'll take eons to put Parallels or Bootcamp on this Macintosh to run Windows, I figured I'd use an alternative to FL Studio....There's no such thing....Don't get me wrong, producers, all the other Digital Audio Workstations are Thizzle in their own way, but nothing compares to the sweet fruit of FL Studio...

Apple's Garage Band, it twas my first choice of DAWs to use, yet, obtaining a copy of one of these programs is like finding a person born with natural green hair, it ain't happenin'! I used to use this at SCPA, it's a decent program, but the lack of a sequencer is my ONLY problem....

Propellerhead's Reason....it's built to be exactly like a real life studio, it's a tad too complicated for me, maybe a 1970s producer would feel at home with this one, I don't like it....

Mixcraft's Acoustica. This is the most decent program I've tried my hand at thus far, there's a sequencer and a small repertoire of instruments, they sound like Kanye's 808s....The format of the program is kinda choppy and hard to look at. Sampling is hard work, me no fucks with it.....

Image-Line's FL Studio is the only one for me. It's smooth, it's sleek, it's sexy! I can't wait for the day I see her face again, tomorrow. I'm gonna get DOWN!!!

All and all, patience is a virtue. When I get a hold of a decent, up to speed computer, I'm GOING HAM!

What If?

I've been breaking from this blogspot for about two days. It was a nice thang. I feel I'm back to me normal content self.

I had a job interview with Primerica. Never heard of them....Dude asked if I was interested after his talk of Life Insurance and paying them so I can work there, I said, "No."

Since I'm back to me, I'm having me like thoughts.....what if they did a Kidz Bop Hip-Hop CD....?

3.Dick Pleaser--Lil Wayne

Reportin Live w/ his Thizzle Girls!!!

It's Boog. Fresh of his 153rd black and mild of this year...

I've decided to start a picture diary of me, Lord Ace Boogie Stojakavic, chillin with my Wright State Thizzle Girls. This came to me when I ran into to bunch of chicks in one day. Today to be specific. I'll chilled with one of my personal favorites JJ aka Stacey Dash today. Up in Squadra Verde Centro, she took part in a common Green Team Activity and changed her mind about going to class.....real Green Team style.

The end of today begins the eve of the end though. This weekend shall be remembered as the renaissance of M.T. Bag. We've been out of the studio for a while, trying to play Suits and whatnot.

But come Saturday, March 7th, 2009. (My Mom's 4oth birthday yay!) M.T. Bag will proceed to tear down Boogie's house. With the help of M.O. Expect to hear about the rap olympics. I'm going for the Michael Phelps Sweep.

It just so dope that the Greatest Olympian of ALL TIME is a pot head just like ME!!!

Cheers. 3 Minutes until take off

Taking The Stage

They say it's not where you're from, it's where you're at....

I could never relate to that saying until now. Apparently the art school I attended for a year is getting its own reality show. They were talking trash about how they were in the process of doing so when I was there in 06-07.....and about how we were supposed to get a brand new building.....well, half of the prophecy is fulfilled.

I think the show has an interesting premise. It shines the light on the people doing their thing, I love it. Cincinnati talent finally has the chance to shine, we need more shows like this.

I was watching T.I.'s show and caught this commercial for Taking The Stage.....I can't guarantee I'ma watch it, but still, kudos, kids....

I'ma get the old house PC today, so I'll be preoccupied with beats and...........................more beats. If contact is a must, you're S.O.L, but contact is never an issue...

Still dreamin'

It Twas Mint 2 B

I was thinking, I'm < than 1/2 the man I used to be.

If I'm not making music on the daily, I'm not happy. I was happiest when all I had to do was go to school and come home to the music.

The way things are going, they suck, but they'll surely improve.

The only thing that raises my spirits is hanging with the band. It's a grand feeling to make music and give it to people and see their reaction. Whether it be positive or negative, I keep learning.

I want this band to work, it has thus far. The only way to make that so falls on ourselves individually. If you take us apart and put us in situations, we THRIVE!! Yet, putting us ALL together, I really don't know yet. M.T. Bag needs to do a show ASAP so I can see if we are truly a band. No matter what, we always make good music, and I guess that's all that counts.

However, just sitting on good music doesn't fly with me. I want to be able to have this good music and have a group of people who tell us,'Hey, you know, your music is what keeps me going sometimes.."

That would be amazing. I love y'all n!99@$, but we all need to do our part to make this a reality.  The music does have to be done, but I have NEVER been in the same room with all of M.T. Bag and I have that feeling of our aura. I know our situations stifle that, but, man, I need to feel a sense of needing that.

I know things'll change and I guess I'm impatient.......

Nuff Said

Immunity

Is February already over?

Damn...

That Black History Month done came and went!

It's March now?

Does that mean prepare for March Madness and St.Patty's Day?

Both of which I never acknowledge as nothing. Some NCAA games are downright boring, the chosen few are epic from first to second quarter....St.Patty's Day.....people drinking green beer and wearing green.....sounds like a regular day with Green Team, minus the color of the beer, and we don't wear green all the time. I guess it's not like a day at Green Team after all.

I got a lot up on my mind.

My regular life is on music all the time now, which doesn't suffice to the standards of regular life.

I guess I'm irregular now.

Saturday. I can feel it. A big ol clash of the super egos.

It'll be fun. I think we'll get a lot done. I really wanna make some With Flying Color beats. My ideas are coming together nicely, but I can always be more potent.

I need to get on my grizzy. These months pass by quick when you're legally an adult. Green March, April, Fool! May I? June Bug, Can't Really On July, Augustus, September 11, Halloween, Thanksgiving, X-Mas, back to the Fresh Snow January. Time flies!

Yeah.

The Greatest Story (N)Ever Told

I'm crazy.

I just reached this conclusion not too long ago. If I'm not crazy there's something wrong with me.

Most definitely

After publishing so many posts in rapid succession I kinda read through them. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube....well, if it's digital toothpaste, you can delete it, but I won't, it makes me laugh.

I think it's wintertime depression...or in our current situation, recession. I ain't been right for a number of years. Like Grimm told me jokingly one time, "Damn, homie, in high school you was the man, homie. The fuck happened to you?"

I don't know. I don't care, maybe I do. My inspiration is at an all time high. Thank M.O. and Ace Boogie for their distinct rap styles. Them cats are hella tight now. I still gotta work on getting like that. It used to be me on top of the rap cyphers, now I struggle to even stay focused on the situation at hand....

Ace told me on MOAC he was gunning for number one spot, and the way it looks, he may earn that spot.

I came back to Green Team Central on Friday with Skeem by my side. The first night, I emptied all my Cabin Fever out, thus immobilizing my ego for the next night...

Skeem was there for the Mardi Gras party and such. I would've ran it like I said, but I was physically, emotionally, and spiritually drained. I don't know how Skeem is still alive, he stayed awake for 48 hours straight, except for a cat nap in Ace's wardrobe.

I was chilling with Green Team and it felt like the Roast of MZA. Good one...

The party wasn't baaaaaad, it was a giant fire hazard at best. Green Team came through in black as opposed to the green color scheme it was scheduled for.

I always felt like an opportunist, but if you saw this guy last night, he didn't even try to interact with folks. I felt victim to my thoughts, and still do. A lot of ends met in my mind last night, that's good, depending on how you think it.

The usual suspect followed their routines. Drunks were drunks, sluts were sluts, and everybody was nobody.

I missed every open opportunity last night, do I regret it? Not really, I chose the choices I chose.

Ace coud tell you about the groupie love, it was funny and GROSS!

I guess it's no big deal that WSU's female population doesn't appeal to me, they disgust me, and they be "turnin' me off", well, some of them. Except that one girl I didn't dance with, that would've made my night if I had done that.....meh!

I feel like I'm getting played on all aspects of me life. The only thing keeping me going is the idea that I'm gonna get to make music with the boys.

So, like my paranoia tells me, I think more people than I imagined come here and read what I rant, complain, and type about. If this site offends you, my deepest condolences. The lay out is definitely changing once I get the band to make suggestions and citations, the lay out is kinda how my mind is. RAP,WOMEN,MORE RAP. That's all I like, really. Don't judge me. Man, I'm crazy.

So, I came up with this album idea the other day. It's gonna describe my life in the way I think, by appearance. It'll be called "With Flying Colors". Every track is named after a color, that doesn't mean that's what'll be included in the lyrics. The name sets the tone. So let's look at the listing draft I got. It may change completely, it may not happen at all. This is the most creative idea I've come up with in centuries.

WITH FLYING COLORS
1.Out Of The Blue
2.Into The Green
3.Black And White
4.Brown Out
5.Purple Rain
6.Fields Of Gold
7.Georgia Peach
8.Tickle Me Pink
9.Her Voice Was Turquoise
10.Silver Bullet
11.Red Rum
12.Yellow Snow
13.Indigo Plateau
I need to do beats for this, I got high hopes....
