Music On A CD Thoughts

 

Before I get into this, I'd like to say, I am NEVER having kids. I'm supposed to like them and all. Kids are cool, if you don't see them on a daily basis. Stomach hurts from dealing with them. They're still cool.

Anyway. The picture above is the draft cover of our sophomore album, Music On A CD. In case you can't tell what the instruments are, I'll help you. The "M" is made of a cello, keyboard, xylophone and an acoustic guitar. The "U", and, yes, it is the letter "U", is a harp. The "S" is a horizontally flipped music note. I'm not sure of the name, I can't read music, corny joke. The "I" is a flute. The "C" is a Jew's Harp. What's that spell? MUSIC. Notice the word is on a Compact Disc(CD). Thus the album's name, Music On A CD.

The original due date was December 12th, 2012. In lamens, 12/20/2012. Get it? 2012,2012. Allegedely, the world will end as we know it on this date. If the world doesn't come to an end, it will STILL change with the release of this classic.

We had too many ideas for this album in the beginning. It was just a bunch of collaborations and Ace trying to hog verses. That's coming to a close. Collabs are still open, but Ace, you gets no multiple verses. The album is going to include different productions. We may enlist Seth Boogie on some beats, Burnz, and Ace will definitely go live after supplying M.I.C's "Shots Ring Out". I'm gonna work on guest spots. I hear a lot of accusations that our Lady S doesn't rap anymore, that's about to change if it holds truth. M.O. will obviously be on it. Relly Boi. Then I'm gonna bust my ass to get some other talents to make this what it has to be. I want Ill Poetic, Chip Tha Ripper, Moxy Monster, Maestro, Eazy World, I want it ALL!

Regarding the content and format. The songs will stream from the previous as well into the next song to give it a feel of seamless play. Each member of M.T. Bag will get a solo track. As far as I'm concerned, Ace is still rolling with "Anxiety Attaq". I've been thinking about my solo song ever since Ace made his and that was WAAAAAAY back. I've changed up ideas, picked at this and that, but nothing definite.

There are some talented folks in Cincinnati and Ohio, but talking about the same things or shit you don't do will lead to your downfall around us. That's not boasting. It's not bragging. It's not shit talk. It's the truth. We've been put here to do this and nobody can stop us. How do you like that?

In other news, our Twitter account grew a little bit last night. We went from 17 followers to about 31 overnight, so keep bangin'. I'm actually starting to consider buying this domain. What if Blogger went down, if we had our own domain, we could avoid the risk....Shit, it's Google, nobody can run those n!99@$ out of business. It's getting warm and I'm on my music shit. It's gonna be quite a summer. The mtbagmobile is back, so if you need us, just throw your threes up and we're there to save the stage. We do birthday parties, house parties, weddings, divorces, Bar Mitzvahs, funerals, et cetera. Dig it?
