First of all, why did I blatantly rip Kanye's title?
Well, to answer that children, it's basically for theatrics. If I had chosen another title and kept the premise, you probably wouldn't get the music anyhow. Plus, 909s & Heart Murmurs is definitely my steez. 808s are cool drums, but I tend to go for the underrated in these kinds of situations. As for heart murmurs, I'm a smoker and I think I had one, one time, I thought I was gonna die, so yeah....
How is 909s different from 808s?
There will be no use of Auto-Tune on this feature. Other than that, the beats are pretty different matched up against other Third World Records releases.
Back to the topic at hand, the beats crafted for this album are either at a higher or much slower tempo compared to your average MZA beat. Some are danceable, others are vibe-able. All around it's good music. The tracks are named after characteristics of women from our lives, thus far from my life I got, The Actress(fake women), The Ballerina(so graceful), The Jealous(women that want you when either, you want another or you're with another), The Softener(ugly chick anthem), The Goth(every man's guilty pleasure, punk/skater chicks), and The Tree(tall women or being intimidated by beautiful women). There is also a track called The End, this track could be about finding the one, I'd have to hear the beat again, I forgot what I had for it.
I haven't really decided the author of this project. It could be M.T. Bag, it could be that long awaited Empathy and Sub-Lym In All collaboration we've been waiting on for two years, I dunno.
Other than that, we've postponed our Open Mic night, not this coming Thursday, but the next one. You got a calendar, if you wanna see us, you'd find out when.....Nah, I just don't have a calendar handy, but as the date gets nigh I will inform you, ya?
In miscellaneous news, I have a bunch of stingy Bill Cosby sweaters that I'll be rocking heavy this Winter. Ghrimm has a new Cincinnati 59/50 and Boogie............he plays too much Guitar Hero.
